Choosing the Right Belt Size

How to identify your belt size:

First, it's important to decide how you plan to wear your belt, at the waist or below the waist at your hips.  If you want the option to wear either way, then go with the measurements based on the hip, usually one or two sizes up from your waist.

If you have a favorite belt that fits perfectly already, then measure it for your size, from the end of the belt buckle to the 3rd or middle belt hole, as per diagram below:

To measure your waist, here is a guide:

For waist belts, measure around your natural waistline (just at the belly button). This is usually the smallest part of your torso.

For hip belts, measure around the fuller part of your hips (not the fullest), where your low-rise jeans would fall.

The measurement that you get is your belt size.  Note: you can usually go up by 1 or 2 sizes because belts have 5 belt holes which gives more flexibility in the sizing overall.  If your waist measurement is 70 cm, then you can wear a 75 cm belt at your waist or an 80 cm belt at your hip.
